Ok the element rules are very simple each genin starts with one element plus another element if the clan the user is in has an element.

Genin - 1 Element (+1 for Clan Element)
Chunin - 2 Elements (+1 for Clan Element)
Jounin - 3 Elements (+1 for Clan Element)
